EXHIBITION "WEAVING THE REED"
The exhibition "Weaving the Reed" centers on the craftsmanship of reed mats from Forjães, a "know-how" that became the main artisanal industry of this village for much of the 20th century.
This artisanal labor is portrayed through the lens of Juan Pablo Moreiras, a French photographer whose work has illustrated numerous exhibitions and publications, including those of UNESCO World Heritage, as well as features in prestigious international magazines.
Additionally, this exhibition hosts pieces from the "Water Earth Fire" showcase, which are the results of work produced over the last four editions of the academic project "'Design' and Territory" by ESMAD, the Polytechnic Institute of Porto.

VARIETY THEATRE "THREE TO THE BILL THAT GOD MADE'"
"THREE TO THE BILL THAT GOD MADE" is a comedy and music show inspired by variety theatre, but structured in an original way. This show will focus on social and political criticism, sharp and elegant humour, a “finger in the wound” on essential societal issues, and intelligent puns that will be dominant features in the original sketches starring Florbela Queiroz and Maria Tavares. In turn, António Calvário, the eternal king of radio, will brighten up the show with his most popular songs, with new musical arrangements for some themes, but also with others that will surprise for their novelty and boldness.
Joining these three artists will be actress Fátima Severino, who, with her charm, talent, and good spirits, will be the special guest of the show.
Prepare for an hour and a half of great talent, as we are in the presence of great names in Portuguese culture, full of vitality.

CHILDREN'S THEATRE "THE LITTLE COCKROACH AND JOÃO RATÃO"
Capoeira – Companhia de Teatro de Barcelos
The pretty and lovely little cockroach wanted to be rich and live her dreams. The show, based on the traditional Portuguese tale, aims to give a new version of the story, while not forgetting the original plot. Imagine if the little cockroach, instead of finding a coin, found a great fortune? Would she still look for a boyfriend to marry? Surely, there wouldn’t be a lack of suitors – but who will marry the little cockroach? This adaptation of the story seeks a fun approach with the original characters, showing that there’s more to life than the material value of things.
