This exhibition, on display at the Esposende Municipal Museum, is part of the celebrations of the Municipal Museum's 30th anniversary and recreates the atmosphere that existed around a century ago in this space of the old Theatre-Club building, where the Espozendense Assembly met, a select group of Esposendenses, formally constituted, with defined statutes, who got together for recreational and leisure purposes.

Through the wide range of objects and pieces on display, visitors will be able to understand what life was like in the Sala dos Azulejos, with mannequins dressed to the nines, its century-old piano and snooker, as well as other furniture and various artefacts, such as grafonolas, crockery, walking sticks, bowler hats and top hats, women's artefacts, documents and newspapers from the time.

Atlantic Coast Orchestra

‘Rivalidades!?’ invites audiences to immerse themselves in the vibrant and complex world of classical music, where the relationships between composers are as intriguing as the works they created. Led by conductor Luis Miguel Clemente, the Atlantic Coast Orchestra will perform works by three of the most outstanding personalities of European classical music from the classical period: Haydn, Salieri and Mozart. 

This concert is a celebration of the diversity and richness of the classical repertoire and a tribute to the masters who have shaped the history of music. May the best win this musical competition!

‘Conversas da Teta’ is a comedy about the drama of breast cancer. These are reflections, catharses and therapies that take place on stage. Each case is a unique and individual process, even if it has the support of many, which deserves to be shared in order to help others in their own processes. Sensitisation can be done in various ways. After an intensive artistic residency, we chose to do it with women and men, without mincing our words, without discriminating against them in terms of the number of breasts they have, revealing the most caricatured situations they went through during one of the most difficult times of their lives.
