In the parish line between Gemeses and Perelhal (Barcelos), at the base of Arnelas Mount, there is a place with a fabulous panoramic view over the parish, the middle course of the Cávado river in Esposende and its northern coast. In this hill, see the remains of a mound and various props, the ruins of an old windmill, circular structure, and granite rubble, according to the popular oral tradition, belong to the "Chapel Velha do Monte" never completed, as well as a monolith that marks the division between the two parishes.
